Speak Your Message Instead of Typing
If it is easier to explain what you want out loud, you can speak your message. Pabbly Studio types what you say into the message box, so you can check and edit it before you send it.
To speak your message, follow the steps below:
1. Choose your language (first time only). Click the small arrow next to the microphone in the message box and choose the language you will speak:
- English + Hinglish (recommended) - For English, or English mixed with Hindi words.
- Hindi - Speak in Hindi, and it is typed in English letters.
- English (US) or English (UK).

2. Click the microphone and speak. Click the microphone icon. The first time you do this, your browser asks for permission to use your microphone. Click Allow. Then speak your message. Your words appear in the message box as you talk.

3. Check the text and send. Click the microphone again to stop. Read the text, fix anything that was heard wrongly, and click Send.
Things to know about voice input
- It works in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Safari. Firefox does not support voice input, so the microphone does not appear there.
- Pabbly Studio never receives your audio. Your browser turns your speech into text using its own speech service (Google for Chrome, Microsoft for Edge, Apple for Safari). This means your audio is sent to that company to be recognised. Only the text reaches Pabbly Studio, and only if you send the message.
- If your browser blocked the microphone, click the microphone and Pabbly Studio will show you how to allow it in your browser's settings.
- Speak naturally and say where the change should go. For example: "On the Invoices page, show overdue invoices in red."
This is how you can speak your message instead of typing in Pabbly Studio. If you still have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.
